Purple scarf with beads...

I'm having great time with my cousin and nephew and I wish you all an awesome weekend also. As usual I'll not write long on weekend and will share a scarf I've been beading. It's purple and I've used brown wooden beads to embellish it. Just a little try...

It's been a day that turned into cheerful from ordinary with a cousin's visit while we were getting ready from another's visit tomorrow. She came in the afternoon just as a relative should; without letting us know she was. We sat and had a long chat over our tea and snacks and I just had time to turn the lappy on to work in my shop and will start knitting just as I post this. I know you all are exhausted after a long week and most of you won't have the energy to check net so I'll end my words here. Today I'll share a pattern I've tried lately and plan to knit a baby overall with it. As usual with the hope you all will like it...

Yarn for baby coat...

I've been trying to find the yarn of the baby coat that was sold lately. It was of colorful yarn, looked great and was a great clothing for little girls in Spring. I think customers also think like me that it was sold twice, but it was a real ordeal to find its yarn again, because here yarn factories have a habit of not producing all yarns on their catalog on next year so there's only one solution and it's to store as much yarn as you can, but it's really impossible to do this while you have many items on your shop. After trying to find the yarn for a week or more; I decided to buy it from the shop where I usually get specially spun yarn and yes the yarn was better than I assumed it would be. I've just started to knit the coat and wanted to share it here to show you the yarn balls. As usual with the hope you all will like it...

It's rainin' ma(d)... :)

It's raining cats and dogs outside and I don't know if net will work for another hour on a country that government keep saying that has developed more in last few years than it has for ages :) I know so well why infrastructure isn't completed and work proper in countries of this region, but voicing this out will just end with cencorship for my IP and won't help anything get better so all I can do is to curse them and pray for those who are responsible for this to rot in hell forever and beyond :) Before I drop offline let me share a few photos of a chiffon scarf that I've posted months ago while I was a rookie in blogging. Summer in Purple & Pink

It was a really busy day, because yesterday mom has invited some neighbors and here when you'll have visitors you need to make millions so serve :) Thank God the menu was quite a shorter one than usual, because they told us what they wanted; some traditional snacks and desserts mom makes really really good (actually she makes everything so delicious and maybe this is the reason why we have more visitors than any other neighbor in the hood :)). We had great tiğme having chat as we guided mom's wonders to our tummies :) The only bad thing on such busy days is not having my tablet around, because few days ago I had a little issue with the battery of it so I've took it to the dealer to fix it and seems like I'll be away of it a few more days. You all know well that lappy isn't as good as a tablet to check your shop in a glimpse :) It was about 20 mins that I could turn the lappy on and made a treasury to be able to share 16 awesome items from shops of fellow Etsians. I know you all will be mesmerized by those lovely items and sharing the treasury with the hope you all will like it also...

A safe haven...

It's another Monday and my followers will remember that it's day for cleaning for me which means I end the day tired and unwilling to move my fingers, but while lappy looks at me from where it stays it's hard to sit and rest before I write my blog :) Through the long interval that I couldn't write my blog it was still bugging me to restart again, but have to admit it was really good to be away from computer on mondays :) On such days when one's tired all she can think is to sit under the shade of a tree and rest her eyes and I remember me writing about a cafe under a historic plane tree in my city. Today I'll share two photos of it to show you a haven you can hide even in your dreams.

Red Thursday...

It's been a quiet day with fixing a little fault on the bikini; actually it wasn't a real fault, but something I thought I'd knit once again just because of my addiction to perfection :) During the day I've surfed the net and searched if I could find a different crochet figure for the bikini, but after an hour I decided that the one I've thought first will suit best with purple color. Satin for Spring...

The day started well with a morning walk with mom after breakfast. When we came home I had plenty of time to work on my new items. I've completed the briefs of the bikini I've been knitting lately, but now I think on the embellishment I'll do on it whether an orange, a daisy or something else that will suit but I'm sure I'll make up my mind soon and will be able to share it here soon befoe I list to my shop. Today I want go on reminding a few items from my shop that I think will be great accessories for Spring; satin scarves. They have lovely colors with a silky touch and I think beading, crochet or tassels that I've made give them a chic look. My new logo...

It's been an extra-ordinary day, because being at uncle's house yesterday changed all my weekly schedule so I had to do cleaning today, but sure I did a shorter one, just vacuum cleaned and tidy up. It was about 2 pm. that I could sit and knit and I guess the briefs of bikini will be ready in a few days. I've knitted like and hour or more and turned the lappy on to work on the favorites. Completed working there a few minutes ago so I could proceed writing my blog. Ones that visited my shop besides my blog might have recognized that I've changed my logo and banner again, because the one I've shared here lately was formed by playing on an image shared on google and used by many others in different colors so I wanted to make a unique one for my shop. Another baby set...

It was a busy day. Right after breakfast I went to the post office to dispatch the baby coat I've recently sold and was shocked with the que that overflew to the street. It's really bad that post offices started to work like banks and accept payments of any sort and not sparing a desk just for postal transaction except the head office buildings. Thank God that I live in city center so it's just 5-8 minutes walk to there. It was just like I assumed; nobody sending anything at that hour of the day so I didn't lose time, because I needed to take my mother and leave for my uncle's house that passed away a few months ago. It's a tradition here to gather with relatives and read verses from our holy book for the soul of the passed away on the 40th day. So busy...

It's weekend and I've been knitting new baby items for a few days; trying to make them ready until Sunday so I can take photos and edit them to post here and list in my shop. Sure life goes on and one still needs to spend time outside while she can stay at home and continue knitting, but I needed a pair of walking shoes so gone shopping with my brother and found one I really liked, but there wasn't the size I need so had to order it which means I need a few days to put them on and walk :) As you can understand from the headline; I'm really busy so wanted to write my blog a few hours earlier than I normally do, but didn't have enough time to pick photos so I'll share some scarves for Spring as I did yesterday with the hope you all will like them...

Scarves for Spring...

I think one of the best accessories for Spring is a scarf and here my country's traditional cotton scarves are really famous worldwide. You may remember me writing about those scarves called 'yemeni'. I have various of them listed in my shop with different types embellishments. Sure I don't promote them as much as some 'professional' shops there on Etsy, but at least sell a few nevertheless. Hat with cable knit...

I just wanted to share one more hat for my followers on Southern Hemisphere and end that series until we head to Winter here. This one's of soft green yarn in two tones with cable knit pattern and I also use one of these myself, not just because it looks so chic, but also it makes great combo with all my coats. One more handknit hat...

It's been another day with neighbors after tidying the house early in the morning and completing one more baby item for my shop. It will be ready at the weekend after photos taken and edited and sure will share it here on my blog as usual before I list it in my shop. Best thing about baby items; especially new born ones; you don't have to knit ones for different seasons, because we need to keep those sweet ones warm whatever the month is. Real ordeal starts when they get age; then you need to change the pattern and yarn type according to different weather conditions. It's like kniting for an adult, but being more careful with the details so the collar or sleeve won't itch that soft & sensitive skin that smell like heaven :) Today I want to share a shirred hat that you can also use as a cowl with the hope you all will like it... https://www.etsy.com/shop/woolopia

For Southern Hemisphere...

I guess there will be no consecutive days that I'll be able to focus on my work and my online shop. Sure I know we've experienced so many issues lately that you're not aware, because of the months' time interval, but those were necessary breaks; such as my uncle's passing away and etc., but what I complain about are daily little details; such as neighbors visiting or inviting us for coffee that never end in time one presumes and keep you away from your work. I missed a season; thank God I had items for Spring like scarves, but Summer's on its way and all I have is a tank top; two strapless blouse listed and a bikini top awating for the panties :). I guess I need to make some time so less sleep and more work for me from now on. On the other hand; I believe someone running an online shop should be respectful to customers living on the opposite hemisphere so I've made a few hats ready to list besides renewing my winter items. Today I want to share two of them. They are of same three colors and the only difference between them is the pompoms. Yellow Ethnic Scarf...

Monday; was another day of cleaning the house which is always tiring, but if you're a bit obsessed in neatness then you do all by yourself which tire out you more than it should. It lasts longer than usual at this time of every year when the seasons change; epecially when we are in Spring after a long Winter that we kept our windows shut through snowy days and now it's time for our houses to breathe deep and fill their lungs with fresh and vivid air :) Sure fresh air comes with her mischievous friend; dust which compels us do cleaning more often. It was in the evening that I finished all and turn my lappy to work on 'favorites' on Etsy so I could proceed on my blog after dinner. Today I'll end sharing beaded scarves with the last color I've listed in my shop; the yellow one with hope you all will like it...
