Another scarf with crochet trim...
Today I've continued to knit the orange baby cardigan and made up my mind on the new scarves that I'll put to my shop. I'll do beautiful adornments with beads and will post some photos here next week when they are finished as usual before I list them to my shop. Normally I crochet around the scarves or do some adornments with beads and spangles. I sometimes use tassels also, because I think without trim, the scarves look so plain; sure the ones except the infinity scarves. Ethnic scarves are usually made of cotton fabric dyed and printed in a traditional way and with handmade crochet or beading they look so chic. There is a vast of ways to crochet the ends of the scarves so mostly if you have one, it will be really hard to find the same unless it's made by some machine. You know you can try to copy something handmade, but to make one exactly the same is really impossible if there isn't a chart and I hardly use charts :) That's why I can't renew my scarf listings in my shop when they are sold !!! Today I'll share an ethnic scarf; 'yemeni' in light brown color with crochet as trim. I hope you all will like it...

2nd. Month :)
We all use this motto so often in our daily life; 'time passes so fast'. Sure these may not be the exact words in the sentence, but I'm sure there is such a saying in every language having the same meaning :) Today I've realized this again when I logged the blogger page. It's like I've started to write yesterday, but today it will be my 32nd. post which means my first month is over in 'the world of blogs' :) I hope I can continue this for years with more and more people following. I know it's not always interesting for visitors, but as I said days ago I get more experienced everyday and aim to make this an successful blog with the support of you all. I really love to see my blog being visited and the comments that are just a few for now draw a big smile on my face. I so appreciate and savour every click and comment and thank you millions for making my day. Today I want to share a cowl I've knitted about a month ago that I use as my profile picture. You knit it as stripes with gaps in between two ribbed parts and then turn it inside out to form a cable knitted part in the middle. Then I've knitted the buttons in the two tones I've used for the cowl. I'm sure the photos below will tell more than anything I write. I hope you all will like it.

A trendy vest for women...
After a long day of searching for a 'flower pattern chart' on net for the new baby sweater I'm knitting (still couldn't find one that is big enough; all that I could find are so small :( I'll be really grateful to anyone who can help me on this :)),; I went out and bought some yarn for my new projects, loved especially the orange colored one and changed my decision on the list I need to renew after the last sale the day before. I'll change the color to orange instead of pink, but sure will knit the pink one after the orange one as the second variant for my shop. Will share some photos of it when it's completed. Today I'll share a women's vest that I have knitted also. What makes it special for me is that different patterns applied on different parts of it. You'll understand what I mean when you look at the photos below. This way the vest had a more trendy look and it gives you the opportunity to combine it with most of one's closet. I hope you all will like it.

How could I made this !!!
Yesterday I've started something new and shared a few photos of an item from my shop instead of sharing one photo of a few items each. Even I'm not an expert of this internet promoting and blogging, I sure check the statistics google share on my blog dashboard and yesterday was an extra-ordinary one. I had more traffic to my blog than previous days. Sure this may be an effect of many different factors beside detailed photos and explanations for items, but still doubled views show me that day by day things are getting on their track. I guess blogging is something one plays by the ear and every experience you get after trying new things help you on your long path to a successfful blog :) Today I want to share a table cloth and napkin set that I've crocheted of fine crochet cotton thread (when I look at it, I doubt if I can face such a hard work again :)). You will see it's made of flowers. I've crocheted all one by one and then gathered them to form this tablecloth. I hope you all will like it.

Game starts today...
Until yesterday, I've just shared my items with one photo each and in groups like baby cardigans, ethnic scarves, satin scarves, aprons, etc., but after the post on baby bodysuit and the traffic on that item in my shop even there aren't enough visitors here on my blog of being a very new one; I made up my mind to show detailed photos of my items so you can realize what they actually are. So the blogger game starts today :) Sure my decision on sharing items from other shops still remains, but I guess I'll pick one or two days for doing that every week and on other days I'll post four or five photos of my own items and give some descriptions about them. As a start I'll share an ethnic scarf. These are called 'yemeni' in Turkey and are printed on cotton fabric. Our women use this traditional scarf in daily life with many different use; to cover their hair in kitchen as they cook, as a headband, as a foulard and even as pareo. What makes it different is not only the traditional print patterns, but also the various handmade crochet, tassels or beading around them. I hope you all will like it.

Touch of silk...
Here in the city I live in, Bursa; it was a rainy day even it's the second day of Spring :) People who haven't got their umbrellas were running to find a shelter, everyone was trying to walk closer to buildings so they would be safe of the raining cats and dogs. Living in the city center has such advantages of watching all; actually watching the daily life of the city from the window of your apartment. So I just did this as I kept knitting the baby sweater I've mentioned yesterday after adjusting an old silk blouse on the sewing machine applying the new pattern I've drew. I guess just because of I've touched silk that much today, I want to share a silk scarf I've dyed. The scarf you'll see some photos is one that I've started with pure silk fabric. First I've batik dyed it in blue and then I've drawn the pattern with golden paint. I hope you all will like it.

Weekend tastes...
After the relief of sending my custom order, I could spare some time for myself and went out for a walk to a mall nearby to do some shopping. I came back and opened my knitting bag where I have my list of incomplete items. I have a few to be completed. One that the shawl I've posted here days ago; formed of crochet flowers in different colors (http://www.etsy.com/listing/129342972/shawl-crochet-shawl-wrap-for-women?ref=shop_home_active_17). I've crocheted enough flowers to form a second shawl. The flowers have to be crocheted together with black wool, but that can wait for a few days, because I want to knit a variant of the baby sweater that has a heart on the chest (http://www.etsy.com/listing/173153269/baby-sweater-jumper-hand-knitted?ref=shop_home_active_14). I'm knitting it in pink with and plan to put a flower on the chest this time. Back of it and one arm is ready and sure I'll share a few photos with you when it's completed. Today I will not share items from my shop, but some pastry; cookies and cakes I've baked for a tea party with cousins a few months ago. I assume these will be better for weekend mood :) I hope you all will like them.
