When you get in silk...
It was a very hectic day. We woke up and had our breakfast first. Then mom; who is a wizard in the kitchen started to bake and cook for our neighbors whom were to visit us for some chat over our coffee. Actually this is a routine in apartment buildings here and even on all entire street. people know eachother around the block and neighbors are really important in our culture. Sure the relations between neighbors were much closer in the past. There were doors between the gardens of the houses that were called 'neighbor door' and they were never locked. The family next door were regarded as family so they could visit your house without even knocking the door and without any limitation (sure the limit was privacy of a family; all new when to pass that door and when not). This was like a bigger family living in the same street so such news as we see on tv never happened those days; nobody lived and died alone then. When you haven't heard from one for a few hours; his neibhbor would definitely check if he was fine. Sure these were the good old days, but I'm still one of the lucky ones to have such neighbors that I feel like members of the family even day by day the connection in between gets weaker for most of the society. I hope the understanding, conscience and caring will win so we can turn back to those days of constant happiness. Today I want to share a brown scarf made of crepe the chine; a kind of silk that gives it a very chic and fashionable look of the golden ages of fashion. I believe the handmade crochet I've embellished it makes it more alluring look. I hope you all will like it...
