Enjoy your weekend...
It's ten minutes to midnight my time; I could only complete checking my mails and working on communities here on google+ and need to write a few sentences here on my blog. It was busy day; we had guests; my cousin and her family came to attend a wedding of a relative and dropped by to visit us and spend a few hours. on their way to Bursa they've realized one of my nieces forgot her shoes at home, it was too late to turn back home and get them so we went our shopping. after a few hours we enjoyed together they left and I just turned the lappy on and start to work. Thank God they've called before they left home so I had a few hours to work on Etsy and complete the favorites and work on the 'teams' there. I was planning to check the folders to find photos I can use on my blog and take a few new ones of the different colored parts of the blanket that I started to crochet lately, but sure I had to spare all my time for something much more enjoyable :) Sure I'll do this laters; maybe tomorrow. Today I want to share a red ethnic scarf from my shop. It's made of red cotton fabric that has different colors of flowers printed on. I've folded it into two and passed two ends through wooden beads; four at each end and I guess it looks so chic as the beads dangle on both sides. I hope you all will like it.

Pink cotton scarf...
It's been a quiet day starting from the beginning. We had our breakfast with Sugar also on the table :) and he jumped from that corner to the other in his cage eating all the family members gave him. He eats too much and this isn't surprising knowing how much he plays in his cage as he chit chat away and sing songs and dance time to time :) In the afternoon we've been invited by a neighbor for tea and we went to their house and had good time with them chatting. Around 5 pm. my brother called and asked if we could meet and do some shopping. We went to mall nearby; I've bought a t-shirt and he bought a pair of cotton pants and we came back home. It was good to have such a break for a few hours outside and we need to thank 'rain' for being so generous to give the chance :) After dinner I've turned the lappy on so I could work on communities here on google + and write my blog before it gets too late. Well I had nothing specific on my mind and on such times it gets really hard to write and I understand the real writers whom I believe are the artists that has to be appreciated most. Sure I; an inexperienced blogger can never be compared with any of them, even the most unknown, but have to admit writing daily is really so hard, but I do my best not to give up. One of the hardest things for a blogger is to choose what to share on the photos which make a post more attractive and as I said earlier I'll start to pick items from fellows' shops this weekend. Any suggestions ? I deeply appreciate :) It will be a pleasure for me to get your messages of approval for your items to be posted here on my blog. Till we start this; I'll share another cotton scarf I've embellished with wooden beads from my shop. Tonight the scarf is pink so as the wooden beads on its both ends. I hope you all will like it...

World Environment Day...
Spring passed with just a few warm days and then Summer started with heavy rain which is gradually getting permanent as years go by. Once in our childhood we knew how the weather is outside in all seasons and we didn't have to check the forecast unless we were to have a trip across the sea :) The human kind developed in many fields, but I guess we failed on environment. Since the mass media appeared on the history scene we started to fool ourselves with thoughts of new needs and we started to believe the lies we made up. Every single day modernity urged us to have something new and to produce to satisfy all the demands, we finally damaged the nature, our planet and surroundings (sure we aren't completely aware about what we do to space yet, but we still realize the dump above our atmosphere) . Unbelievable creatures we are; we know what's right and what's wrong, but we still make the worst choices for our future. Just to raise global awereness on the environmental issues 5th. of June is celebrated as World Environment day by the United Nations since 1973. Sure where we are now is not where we should be, but late is better than never so we must take action as soon as possible. Each of us should support recycling and use natural pruducts as much as we can in our lives instead of synthetic ones. You may ask if I do this strictly. The answer will be a big NO, but I'm trying to change. I've started to recommend my customers to use cotton or wool instead of acrylic on the custom orders and I try to replace the ones on my lists with the ones made of natural materials as much as I can and aim to have a completely 'green' shop in a year at latest. Today I want to share a cotton scarf I've embellished with wooden beads. I've actually put its photos on my posts months back, but with a few others so I want to share once again in a single post. I hope you all will like it...

Why TURQUOISE is TURQUOISE ???
It's been a hectic day starting from the morning. I've started to search the net for new items I'll put to my lil shoppe for winter. Actually two of them are on my mind for so long and I've even bought different colors of yarn for them. One is a blanket and the other is a baby cardigan, but today I've decided to make a baby blanket also, but haven't made up my mind yet whether I'll crochet or knit it. I've also noted a few more items to knit after looking at the trendy colors. After the web search for an hour or more I went out for a walk with mom and did some shopping. When we came back home our neighbor next door was waiting for us to let us know she was to come for coffee so mom made some snacks and I've prepared all needed for serving them. It was around 6 o'clock I've turned the lappy again to work on the favorites on Etsy and communities on google + till dinner. It took a while to do them all, having my meal and doing the dishes so it's 10 pm. now that I've started this blog post. Today I want to write about a historical monument that is one of the symbols of my city; Bursa. It's called the Yeşil Türbe (Green Tomb) which is a mausoleum of the fifth Sultan of the Ottoman Empire; Mehmed I. (we can discuss about it imperial ages on another post) by his son and successor Murad II. I'll not write about the architecture, because I know photos are more effective to represent it. You know the color 'turkuoise' is the only color that's named after a nation and when you see the tiles on the walls of the tomb you'll understand the reason for doing so better. I hope you all will like it...

Thank you for your support...
As the days go by, I guess I get used to organize my chores online, but I know I still need to learn more on blogging. It would definitely be easier if I've written in my own language, but then people reading this blog would have more problems with 'google translate', because Turkish seems to be easy to learn. Actually this language is really hard to learn if you want to read and write instead of just talking it. So at the beginning I've decided to write in language that I don't have the complete grasp, but sure by time I'll get more experienced in writing in a foreign language and I hope at latest in my second year I'll be able to use terms of crochet, knitting and sewing so I can explain how one can make her own of the items on this blog with the right words without causing any misunderstanding :) I started to search for the vocabulary on such crafts and I'll be really happy when I start to give patterns and tutorials here. Till then I ask of tolerance from you all and really appreciate everyone supporting this blog by sharing and commenting my posts; every click is really important to encourage a beginner and upto now you've done this is in such a lovely way. If I've got no clicks and comments for months I'd give up even if it would hurt me :) So thank you millions on the first day of the 5th. month of Woolopia. Today I want to share a colorful sweater for kids that I think is very sweet. I hope you all will like it...

Vest... Why not ???
The week started with cleaning the house as usual and after that I could only find some energy to turn the laptop and work on the 'groups' on facebook, tweet my items, share them on pinerest till it was dinner time. It was just after I did the dishes I could check my inbox on gmail and share some of my items on 'communities'. As I did this I figured out I have many cardigans for babies in my shop, but just one vest in two different colors. Actually in my country vests are commonly used by moms, because it's easy to put on the baby. It's been more than a year since I've opened my shop and haven't sold a vest yet while I've sold many baby cardigans so I guess people purchase on Etsy don't like vests :) I guess I need to make a search on this, because attitude of people in different countries can't diverge from one another. Sure people's behaviour and likes change under different circumstances, but I don't think there's a country that citizens don't wear vests :) I seriously will search this and if I'll end up with waistcoats are not as relevant as cardigans or sweaters I'll remove the list from my shop, because anything that isn't desired by customers shouldn't be on any shop if customer satisfaction is important by the owner and that person takes this business serious, want it to flourish and last for a lifetime :) After making too many comments on vests; I guess I'd better share it here for you to see so you can make your own decision. I hope you'll like it...

1st. of Summer...
It's the first day of Summer, but for the last few years nothing's as it should be in this country of mine which was definitely one of the most beautiful countries of the world with people who were a great examplke for tolerance. Sure many things had changed including the citizens of this country and weather seems to follow the change in all the others to the bad side of the scale. It started to rain mad yesterday and today clouds let the Sun just for a few quarters to show its face. I guess this was one of the worst start to Summer at this end of the world. I guess even our people don't realize how they ruined the future of this country and its young people and sold both for a few years they could spend by using the money they borrowed from others. I guess this is something we can call 'borrowed wealth' :) Sure God has a response for all te shit a nation does and the reply come in a curse that we think it's something good. Sure this is always an illusion and I hope my people will become wise enough someday before it's really too late and u-turn from the path that take us all to the edge of cliff. I guess the gloom of the weather oozed into my words and I'm happy this happened on Sunday that so few read blog posts :) Today I want to share another treasury that I've selected pink and purple colored items from the shops of fellow Etsians. I hope you'll like all 16 items...
