Tank top; New look :)

It's would have been better if my brother caught a glimpse of the mannequin on one of our walks a few months earlier :) Sure I know it was not there then, but such incidents make so big differences in our daily lives while we think they never would. Just after we brought it home and taking a few trial photos, I started to feel every new photo will help my shop turn into something I'd been dreaming of to be. Sure none of my photos will be as we see on websites shot by professionals with expensive cameras and lights that make even a regular item look great, but still they'll make the shop more attractive, warm and friendly. It's been around thirty of the items I've changed the photos and by the +1s on my posts here on google + it can be seen that I'm on the right path this time. There were items in my shop that I thought to remove, because deep inside I felt nobody would buy them, but maybe as a sign a few of most unexpected ones were sold so I've come to a conclusion that I had do something else. Never would think such a little thing like a mannequin could make such a big difference, but today I see it does. I hope I'll be able to complete changing the photos of all my items before new season's here. I'll share new photos of a tank top that I've knitted of cotton yarn in creme color today. As usual with the hope that you all will like it...

On the move...

It must have been the most beneficial Saturday of the last months :) I woke up early in the morning and right after having my breakfast I've continued to knit the white jumper which is a custom order that I want to complete and send as soon as possibe since it will fly all the way to New Zealand. While I've knitted I had just one thought on my mind and that was to take new photos of my items and change them with ones that I think are not as I want them to be. You saw the first few ones here on my blog and what I see on your comments is that I did it right. There are too many, but I plan to do them gradually so today I took some of them out of the cupboard and boxes I keep them in. I took more than sixty photos of about 15-20 items and then edited more than a half of the photos and uploaded them to the lists of my shop. It's a hard work on computer, but I need to this once so I can focus on new items I'll knit and crochet. Today I want to share the item that new photos made the greatest difference. It's a strapless blouse of flecked cotton yarn in yellow color which definitely looked a color that I can hardly define on earlier photos :) I hope you all will like it...

Lime green cardigan...

Looking at the shares from friends and +1s on google + and the favorites on Etsy I see that the new photos make my items more attractive so I'll take new photos of more tomorrow and edit the listings after they are ready. One other benefit of taking new photos is that one can change the light and sharpness of them; sure if she spent enough time on photo editing programs and checked all its menu wondering what that button does. Curiosity not only kills, but time to time helps; actually it helps more than it does anything else. Every new invention is a result of curiosity companied by knowledge and intelligence and even my listings never mean as much as a new invention that will help human kind, the progress in them is still good enough, because it will draw a big smile on my face if not any others'. Yesterday I've changed the photos of four items listed in my shop and I have to admit, I'd buy them right away if I was a shopper while I'd think on if I'd buy or not with the earlier photos. As I've repeated many times on running an online shop is a long run and one should never retreat or surrender against the difficulties that will attack through her walk :) Just don't forget 'The ones that hit the road determined not to get exhausted, will never get tired'. This is one of the sayings of wisdom of M. Kemal ATATÜRK; founder of the Turkish Republic which I take as my guide on my walk. Today I'll share a cardigan for women that I've knitted of green yarn and shared here to show you the difference how big a change just a little detail makes. I hope you all will like it...

One more step...

You know yesterday I've written of how life gives us new lessons everyday, teaches us different things, trains us and makes us ready for the upcoming day. This doesn't change who ever you are and through your life you turn these into experiences if you're lucky enough to realize them passing by while you're aware of what's going on. All we read also awaits us in one of the dark passage of our brain which is still an unsolved mystery :) I've read many articles on running an online shop since I've opened my shop and on most, there were warnings about the photos of your items. At the beginning I've learned to edit them and change the background, then I've figured out there were many other options and tools I could use on those softwares. Day by day my photos became better even I don't use a professional camera. I was thinking on ways to display them more attractive and lately bought a mannequin. Decided to change the photos of the items for ladies and the first one was my favorite shawl as you may remember. Today I've took a few more's photos and edited them which I guess look far better than the ones I've used before. Sure I'd love to this before the jumper I'll share today was sold two days ago, but since it's a custom order with the same color, but different size; I think it's not a bad idea to exhibit here for my followers. As usual; with the hope that you all will like it...

Something new every day...

Life is the sum of all the experiences we get through our walk through the path God has drawn for us. Every day comes with many new surprises for every single of us and some are lucky enough to turn all that fate brings into experience that will guide them on future issues. No matter if it's something big or not, every single thing we learn helps us someday and somewhere. Even the things we regard useless will become crucial on solving a problem in our daily life. This is like climbing a ladder, every problem solved prepare us for the next step. This was how it happened for me with one my customers. You know; knitting a custom order is always harder than selling something ready so you need to be precise on some measurements. On the first months after I've opened my shop, I first measured every item one by one and wrote them on the description of the lists so my customer would know the size and could measure if the item will fit. It's a bit different on custom orders, because the standards differ from region to region, country to country so I had an issue as I've knitted a cardigan for a customer's daughter even I've got the measurements from her. I realized that I had to find a way to make us talk the same language and this had to be a language that the knitter should invent so I've made a very simple drawing that will assure the item to fit. Today I'll share it with you and hope it to be useful for at least a few of you...

What we did to Paradise...

I guess there can never be two consecutive days that one can end without any issues with net or techno gadgets. If one doesn't cause a problem then the other does and this happens under name of 'update' which is just a thick curtain the firms hide behind to enslave their users. It can be hardware or software; no matter which one is for the users like us who don't have the fully grasp of secret and coded language they use; it's a real burden when we are attacked somehow. These computers we use have such recondite things deep inside working without us knowing they are; mostly they are there to make our life easier, but when they are confused or mixed up, they become a torture. Today my share of techno trouble was with the operating system and you may all understand who was behind it smiling as he counted the money he won today which is more than some countries' gross national product. The lappy was continuously restarting itself, but was frozen actually with that note on the screen spinning :) Thank God I had my brother around and he searched the net for such issues and finally found a solution that I could start to worrk after losing two hours. Sure it didn't effect as it would if the problem occured in the afternoon when I turned it on to work on teams on Etsy while my brother was away :) I guess we human kind did something wrong on our path of progress even we achieved awesome inventions on our long run on our planet. So you may think what may be our mistakes and when you think on this for a few minutes, you may list many, but today I'll show just one of them. Here are a few photos of the Bursa was once called 'Green Bursa' or 'Paradise on Earth', because of the great amounts of trees all around the city. I took them today from the skirts of Mount Uludağ and I'm sure you all will realize what's missing on them...

On Both Edges...

It was a beautiful start to the week. You know we blame Mondays like they're responsible for all the exhaustion through the week and if they're reason for us to end our weekend rest :) Most of us wkae up to the new week as if something bad will happen and if that cursed Monday didn't exist all would be like living in paradise. I did this many times through my life; especially when I had to go school early in the morning after the weekend I've enjoyed with loved ones. Sure we all know we can overcome this nonsence invention of the people of modern times and stop torturing ourselves with that puppet we call 'Monday Syndrome' :) It would definitely be better if life also helps us on our battle and I have to admit it does time to time. This was one of those days that I woke up fully rested and ready for all the work I had to do for my shop. I had items to be completed, items to start and an item to dispatch to my last customer. I've turned the laptop on to get the address and saw a few messages on my etsy inbox. A few of them were treaury notifications and one was from a lady asking a few details about an item listed on my shop and was asking if I could send her a color chart. This was a request that reminded me I still haven't got such charts ready even I've downloaded a few pdf catalogs of yarn firms. So it was a hectic hour to make a few charts and attach them to my messages. It was around afternoon the guests started to come and in the evening we were invited to tea by our neighbors next door. We spent a few hours there and then went out for some shopping and a little walk. You know the routine after dinner; I spend all my time on computer trying to work on google + and etsy. Today I had time to make a new treasury that I named 'on both edges' that I know you all will love the items on it. As usual with the hope that you all will like it...

This looks better...

I guess I've spent longer than usual online yesterday fater a long interval that I couldn't work on promoting my items. I was still tired when I woke up after a good sleep, but there were to much to do at home. Normally we clean the house on Mondays, but our routine has changed since my aunt passed away, becasue our prople rather make their visits on week days instead of weekends. Even most of the people we know visited to extend their condelences, still more unexpected ones come everyday. This means I can't spread my work all around the house in case the door bell may ring any time. I finished the claening so it was time to take a few photos of the favorite shawl in my shop which is of my own pattern. BeforeI crocheted the first one I thought I'd have a colorful shawl of flowers. I've thought on it, decided the shape of them and after a few try I found what I wanted. It was years ago and when I opened my online shop, I thought it would be listed there too. I was disappointed that it wasn't sold so long, but then I've realized it became relevant after the season that we use shawls was over. It was sold a month ago and I was knitting a few baby cardigans then so I just could start to crochet it flowers two weeks ago and completed it yesterday and saved the one I've listed which is the one I've crocheted first and been keeping in the cupboard for years; using it once or twice a year. You all know it, because I've shared both mine and the sold one here on my earlier posts, but there's something new with this one, because its photos are the first ones that I've took on my new mannequin. I believe the shawl looks better this way and hope you all will like it...

A classic pattern...

Except the crowd in the streets I love the weekends :) It gives me more time complete my work than the week days, because neighbors or friends prefer to stay at home instead of visiting eachother. I don't if its the same for you, but our doorbell ring less on weekends. In the morning while the weather wasn't scorching yet, mom and I went out for a little walk, passed through the bazzaar to make some grocery shopping. It was about eleven o'clock when we came back and I've took my knitting bag to complete the shawl I've been crocheting for a week which had only one flower to be attached and tassels to be made which took an hour to finish. I've ironed it after it was completed and before the tassels were stitched so it would be ready for tomorrow that I'll take and edit its photos. All I want is a possible buyer to buy it after I've changed the photos, because the one there on my shop is the one I want to keep for myself :)but after the surprise sale I need to use it as I renewed the list. After knitting and crocheting for a few hours and working on google + and etsy I went out for some shopping for the second time, but this time with my brother. I was planning to buy some yarn that I've seen on my walk with mom, but couldn't look closer as we tried to get back home before the heat and humid encircled us :) The shop owner told that there were just a few of that yarn and was sold out before noon so we just headed home with empty hands. On our way home brother saw shop selling mannequins and bought one knowing how hard I try to make my photos look the same; trying to make them standard. It's going to be great, but sure this means more work even on the photos that I think are good enough :) It was around eleven pm. that I remembered I forgot to take the photo of the jumper I want to share here today so did that quickly, edited it and all were ready for my 201th. blog post. It's a jumper of my brother that I've knitted years back just like the one yesterday. I've knitted it of creme, navy blue and red year and I know no need to talk on the pattern which is a classic that I assume you all would know. I hope you all will like it...

Wool never dies...

It passed midnight and I just could complete my daily work online after putting my crochet and knitting aside. This online business is really ingrate; it demands your constant attention and when you leave it on its own for a few days you see it with with a gang of backlog awaiting to pounce over and knock you off :) This is also the same for friends and relatives that we neglect through our daily troubles. Both try to hurt the other by words after na long time missing eachother. It's not a matter of hate or rage, but just a reaction to ease all the heartbroken moments that they couldn't share with eachother. We are all selfish; even if we aren't, we are a bit egocentric. We disregard and deny that they also felt the same on the long interval far from us. I guess tolerance is something we need to keep on our sack on our long path that's called 'life'. Now you may wonder if I had such an experience with a loved one lately. The answer is NO. what made me think this way was something my brother said about one of his jumpers that I've knitted for him years and years ago as he was in the collage in another city while I've been checking the cupboards to take a few photos to share here. He said we should keep such items that we have thousands of memories around instead of hiding them in drawers or cupboards ot cherish all those awesome moments that makes us the person we are (you see I have a philosopher around and living with one can be really hard time to time :)). Tonight I'll share a few photos of that jumper in tribute to his words. I hope you all will like it... By the way... You all may remember me complaining how hard it's to write even a few sentences everyday and here it's my 200th. blog post. Thank you millions you all for your constant and warm support. It's really a privilege to have such amazing friends like you...

Colors from friends...

It will be like consecutive posts about the same subject which makes the world more beautiful; COLORS. It's the variety of colors that makes our surroundings and planet more appealing and attractive. The peers in my country or the countries that weren't as developed as the part of the globe we call 'west' would remember the black and white days on tv which was so dull that you had to guess the color of things on the screen according to the tone of grey :) I remember the first colored broadcasts that were like an hour in a day which was on early 80s while I was still a teenager :) Sure most of you are born to the times when the televisions were colored and wouldn't understand what a big change it was in our lives as all the family looking at the screen like we've been mesmerized. We get used to new inventions so quickly and fast and continue to live like they've always been a part of our daily lives and become different tones and colors in our society. Colors come with cheer and joy just like the rainbow appears and brightens the sky amongst the dark gray clouds. This is what fellows' items on my latest treasury does to everyone who has the chance to see them. I'm sure you all will love these items in various colors and I hope you all will like the treasury also...

Trendy Colors...

Day by day I get more views, more likes and comments that tells me this long-term pursuit gradually gets closer to its destination. This really makes me happy, but on the other hand fears me some, because even I know I'll never have enough time to make this blog a famous one which gets thousands and millions clicks, I still feel responsible for every single friend that hits that little button on their keyboard and make that square turn red. It would really be easier if I started the blog first and online shop after so I'd have the advantage of being experienced and having more time to spare for my blog instead of sparing time to complete my new items. I know this isn't much different for anyone running a few pages online and lack of attention on one is inevitable. On such times one depends on the warmth of followers as I've asked of you many times and always got more tolerance than I'd expect that I'm really thankful for all the support and understanding. You'd remember me saying I was working on the new items and searching the web for the this and here's something that will be useful for you all on your work for the upcoming seasons; fall/ Winter Color Trends :) This year the color palette in fashion will be BRIGHT COLORS (Blood Orange, Orange, Tangerine, Cherry, Siberian Red, Fuchsia, Caution Yellow, Lime, Cobalt, Cerulean, Electric Blue), HIGHLIGHTER BRIGHTS (Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green), JEWEL TONES (Cranberry, Wine, Crimson, Hot Pink, Honey, Mustard, Emerald, Deep Emerald, Teal, Orchid), NEUTRAL TONES (Loden, Pea Green, Ink, Charcoal, Grey, Dove Grey, Toffee, Ivory, Creme, Chocolate, Cocoa, Camel, Taupe -gray with tinge of brown-,), SOFT TONES (Lilac, Carnation, Dusty Rose, Nude, Peachy tones, Ice Blue, Lavender). Sure when you search fashion shows; you'll see many categories like ROMANTICS, INDUTRIALS, etc. but I guess these colors and tones will be enough for us who are on their first few steps on online marketing :) I've been sharing photos on every blog post since the very first day and I'll not change this even the scarf that I'll share will be irrelevant with what I've written above. It's a black shiffon scarf that I've embellished with crochet in bright colors (and here's something that suits the post :)) which isn't listed in my shop, but still a sample that would inspire me on my future work. As usual I hope you all will like it...

Black & Gold

It was busy day on net. After weeks I could spare some time for my shop and promoting it on different social media. I assume that you all are experiencing the same difficulties and issues trying to complete items for the upcoming season and promoting the ones listed in my shop. While not having enough time during the day, when unexpected things occur you need to give an interval to all your work just as I had to for my aunt's funeral. It was two days ago that I could work on google + communities and etsy teams, as you see on my post I could hardly have time to make a treasury yesterday and earlier today I could login my facebook account and reply to the requests while posting my items to groups there on which I missed to get 'like's :) In the afternoon I found a chart to knit a heart in front of the baby jumper I've been trying to complete. The last one's heart was a bit narrow and looked like a fox head so I wanted to change it with a sweeter shaped heart on the new one and the one's I'll knit in the future when I need to renew the list after a sale. I left the jumper aside, attached the flowers of the colorful shawl in my shop and ended my daily work by knitting another part of the baby blanket. It was around 6 o'clock that we went out for a little walk with, and had our dinner when we came back, turned the lappy on once again and cleaned the inboxes that I could finish just a quarter ago so I could start to write a few sentences for my blog. As usual unplanned and as spontaneous as a blog post can be. Today I want to share a short sleeved, turtleneck jumper for women that I've knitted of black and gold lurex yarn. I hope you all will like it...

A Fresh Start...

Through all the rush in our lives, I guess most of us forget to seize the day. I know for the ones that aren't used to feel every single moment that they live, it's impossible to fill an whole day with cheer, laughter and joy, but at least we should stop for a few minutes to take a look at what's happening around us. I'm sure you all had moments that your eyes captured a scene that passes by even when you drive a car with high speed. It may be a lovely little baby in his stroller, a bird on a branch or a flower on the edge of a pavement. It can be anything that refreshes and relieves you that life has let you realize on the most unexpected moment. It's like the freshness in the cool lands of a glade. On such moments just remember you're gifted with such a scene reflecting the the comfort and tranquility of heavens that everything turns into a part of paradise that you've been dreaming for all your life. All we need to do is to take a step back and look carefully and gradually we'll see wonders in everything. Sure there are things that you see their magic without any effort just like the 16 items you'll see on the photo below. I'm sure you'll love them all and I hope you'll like my latest treasury also...

In memory of thousands...

There are days in our lives that we'll never forget and this is also the same for nations. Sure on our long run on the path called life, there will be many to be remembered or celebrated, but some of them effect you deeper. 17th. of August is one of them for my country. It's the day that we had so many casualties; more than thirty thousand citizens lost their lives according to the official statements, but we all know our loss was far more than that they declared. It was a severe eartquake that caused this and most of us still have the post eartquake damages and fear from any little one that occur. It was 3:02 am in the morning that the eartquake struck us and we all shattered and shaked for more than a minute by an enormous force that was measured 7.4 magnitude. Thousands of buildings collapsed and many lights of life extinguished. It's the 15th. anniversary of it that we all want to forget the moment, but we should never forget all the destruction and loss, because we live on a land that has some of the most active fault lines of the planet. A really big and dangerous eartquake is expected right beside the biggest city of our country and knowing that nothing's done to strengthen the buildings or building new and safer ones really fears me of that day. I just wanted to remind that most of us live in unsafe cities and need to take action to persuade our governments on doing something with our taxes instead of peculating public money. I pray for the souls of people that lost their lives in all natural disasters and wish them to rest in their eternal sleep. Instead of sharing photos of the wreckage after the earthquake which won't be much heartwarming, I'll share a sweater I've knitted of red yarn to wear daily on cold winter days. I hope you all will like it...

Just a quick post...

I guess bad things follow eachother when one comes into your life. It's the day after a funeral that frustrating things happened between some of the relatives that I'll not voice out here, but at least prayers for my aunts soul were sent to guide her on her long way to eternity. Last night I was home around 11 pm. and was so tired so just had a little chat in the balcony with my cousin who came from İstanbul and spent the night with us. We rushed to our beds in about an hour, because we were so sleepy and we couldn't keep our eyes open even we wanted to chat longer. In the morning phonecalls started early; so many friends called to extend their condolences and in the afternoon started the visits from neighbors and acquaintances. I just had some time around 5 pm. to check my inboxes and saw there were too many that I wouldn't check them all so decided just to clean gmail on which I saw so many lovely comments on my two lined post on the day before that I'll not be able to write because of the funeral arrangements and settings. I just want to thank you all again and apologize if there's one I haven't thanked directly to the comment which is not intentional. It was close to 7 pm. that net failed I thought it was a temporary problem which would end in a few minutes like it always does; just tried to reboot and started to wait when I saw there wasn't net connection. It was half an hour later that mom realized the phone was not working also so I understood what the problem was. Just called the provider and dropped a note for failure and it was a quarter to midnight when I heard the 'bling' of mobile phone that the net is available. Took the lappy, turned it on and wanted to write a few sentence for my blog so there won't be a long interval of silence :) The bad thing is I don't know if the maintenance will continue so I couldn't edit the background of the photo I'll share today. It's a long vest I've knitted of grey yarn which is always a good combo with anything casual. I hope you all will like it...

Sorry...

I'm sorry, but today I'll ask to be exempt of writing, because my aunt has passed away and will be busy with the settings for the funeral tomorrow. Thank you all for your understanding and tolerance.

Pistachio ???

There's a habit in Turkish television channels that they change their streaming when a celebrity passes away, broadcast one of his production and it was 'Dead Poets Society' last night in the memory of Robin Williams which locked me to the screen just like any movie of him even the ones that I've watched many times. It was around 2 am. that it finished and I could head my bed for a peaceful sleep till the morning that I woke up about half an hour later than usual. I still had a few items to be completed for the renewed lists on my shop so I can proceed to the ones that I've started for the new season. After coming back from our morning walk with mom I've sat and knitted for a few hours. Then I've turned the lappy on to make a thorough search for new items and colors that would be so useful if net connection had let me, because the provider decided on that specific time that I've started my search to start their maintenance that slowed the connection which was a real headache (it's not becasue I don't know the idiom that fits here, but I don't want google robots detect the word that stands for the southern part of a human body in it and place my blog into adult category :)). Bad connection prolonged my work, but I was determined to complete it, because soon I'll not have any time for this trying to spare all my time to knitting and crocheting. It was in the evening that a thought struck and reminded me that I have an insatiable monster to feed. It's my blog that demands new photos every day :) so I took a few that I'll share the ones of a women's jumper that I've ribbed knitted of pistachio green yarn. I hope you all will like it...

What Dreams May Come...

I never would think that I'd write on this on this blog and I don't know if I'll do it again for somebody else that I never had a chance to meet in person. this is weird, but some people has that special asset and effect on you that you can never name, but even you live so different lives, you regard them as your family members. Was I a fan who went to the theater and waited in a queue to be one of the people to see one of his movies first? No. Was I one that rushed to a shop and buy the DVDs of his movies just the day they were released? No. Have I ever thought to fly to U.S. to wait in front of his door and wait hours for taking a few photos of him? No. Was I somebody who read anything about him as a fan? No. The thing is even I haven't done any of these I was one in the millions that could feel the warmth in his eyes and the sincerity in his attitude. Another question that its answer is a simple 'no' as the ones above; Am I the one who should write about this big actor and comedian (which is the summit of acting. Every comedian can act, but every actor can't do comedy)? BUT I had to write a few sentences in his memory for all the lovely moments I've had watching his movies. I know millions and billions of comments will be made for him as the gates of heaven awaiting him wide open, most of them will be in sentences that are expressed far more better than mine and we all know he deserves better ones than the best of all those comments. Living the most of his life in glamour of fame now we know so well that he was still living the deepest loneliness and experienced a constant ordeal that I know will end when he meets all the talents that had passed away earlier and made his place ready besides theirs as they wait in longing. R.I.P. Robin Williams till we all meet in Heaven... (* All images are from google images)

A light cardigan...

After the hopes for the future of my country all faded, I'm far more determined to work harder and make the fight of my own with all these traitors so I've started to do things I've been suspending like checking my cupboards and drawers for the items I've knitted earlier. Actually I've started to do this a few days ago to find different things to share on my blog, but I was a bit lazy and took a few of them out to take some photos. Today after making up my mind and plan I've made a thorough search to see what I have and was really surprised with the variety of my knitted and crocheted treasure :) Some are really great and some will definitely turn great after a few little touch of change :) The problem is; I don't know if I'll have enough time to knit new ones of them while the new season's on its way on which I'll be busy with completing the new creations for my shop, but I'll still do my best on this. Today I want to share a light cardigand with short sleeves that I've knitted of black and silvery yarn just like the women's jumper I've listed in my shop. It looks so alike the jumper with the stripes of black and silvery yarn, but a bit more narrow. I hope you all will like it...

As expected...

New days always come with cheer and hope, but I have to admit hope was not with me today as I woke up, because after having enough experience with the elections in my country I was so sure that the result was not going to be good. Just as I've expected our people whom had been enslaved with poverty, illiteracy and ignorance voted for a person that's a real hazard for peace in our homeland and also in the world. Sure millions of things can be said for the ones that hasn't voted, but none will console the real patriotic ones that their hearts been blleding since this clan grasped the country like dark clouds of storms cover the sky. In this region of the world many countries experienced retrogressive moves supported by foreign imperial forces that end with tragedy and catastrophe of the citizens, but if such a thing happens here, that will be worse than all, because uneducated masses can't even have the ability to think on their own, but expect to be directed as puppets. I just hope them to see how wrong their choice is before we all see the hell on earth. After I've voted we've gone to the seaside with mom, brother and a cousin to check the house of my uncle that lives in Germany most of the year. The house is empty for more than a year so we need to check if all was fine after the heavy rains on the past few weeks. When we came home in the evening, elections results were available on television channels which I've mentioned above. I didn't have the energy to do anything, but wanted to knit some to get calm. Today I want to share a shawl that I've listed in my shop in various colors. I've shared them on my previous posts, but I guess it's a good time to repeat on these days before the chilly nights of Fall is here. I hope you all will like them...

Red & Black

The day started hot then around noon it started to rain and stopped after pouring and hour which made the rest of the day more humid and forced us to close the courtains which is a kind of imprisonment which my people experienced all kinds of it on the last decade after the uneducated masses voted for people who were the members of the most corrupted league that the history has ever seen. I'm sure even the ones who are less interested in world news and politics has seen a few nonsense they caused or voiced out. I'll not list any here, becasue I can't bare thinking of those traitors. The reason I've mentioned on this is because the elections for the presidency is tomorrow and I really wish the head of the traitor clan not to win, because that will be an exact estrangement from the modern world for my country which seems not a big deal for the rest of the globe, but the destructive effects will be seen and understood when all the disgusting things we see and hear on media starts to happen in front of our door. I'll go to vote early in the morning and hope I'll be surprised at the end of the day to see that our people has woken up from a long long sleep. When the rain gave an interval for an hour, mom and I went for a walk and made a little shopping. Mom bought a pair of shoes and I came home back with a new printed t-shirt. Spending the rest of the day at home gave me enough time to work on teams on Etsy beside knitting and crocheting. In the evening I've made a treasury that I've named 'As much Red as Black' that I'm sure you'll love the items included. The treasury ? I hope you all will like it...

Roll Neck... Turtleneck... Skivvy...

Writing in a language that's commonly spoken around the globe, having different dialects and forms in different countries is a bit hard time to time :) I guess you can understand what I mean from the title of this post. Using the word used in one country will unable others understand it. It's worse for the ones whose native language isn't the one you write your blog; in my example English, because readers might have learned it from British or American teachers so for such words like the one on top of this page they need to apply to a dictionary. This was not much different for me when I saw the images on net on my search with tags 'skivvy' that I've learned it was the synonym of roll neck and turtle neck :) As I see on the comments on my yesterday's post such obstacles make it harder to continue writing everyday, but as I've repeated many times will not give up and if it ends with me learning every single word in English :) Sure it would be much easier to write on my native tounge; Turkish, but I can't rely on the translation softwares on this so it's still the best thing to keep on writing on a language I don't have the fully grasp of and count on your tolerance as I always did. Today I want to share a few photos of a men's jumper I've knitted of 'salt and pepper' yarn in brown and creme color. Haven't listed to my shop, but will knit ones in various colors for Winter. I hope you all will like it...

For my new creations...

I remember the times I wondered if I could find new subjects to write on my blog and was really afraid for this page to be lost in the dark corridors of the 'blogging' labyrinth :) I see my posts celebrating the first few months of my blogging struggle and as time passed by, all started to happen spontaneously. Today I've realized that the sixth month of my blog has passed nearly a week ago. Sure it isn't that easy to perpetuate a blog, to find enough photos to share daily, but once you encourage yourself on running it without giving intervals, when you know there's no way out, you get used to writing. As I search the photos I'll share on my blog every day I've also realized that I haven't took photos of many items I've knitted, I guess unintentionally I take photos of the items I plan to list to my shop, but there are many more I have in my cupboards and drawers that will see the sunshine and new ones of the same patterns will be knit and listed to my shop as my new creations for the upcoming seasons. Today I'll start with a men's sweater I've knitted for my brother first which is the same pattern of a jumper I've knitted earlier for him also. There's only one cardigan for men in my shop and I guess adding a few new ones is a good idea. I've knitted this sweater of black and grey wool which is a good combo with anything casual and also on shirt when one wear a jacket. I hope you all will like it...

Started this one...

When I saw the faves on the baby cardigan I've knitted and listed to my shop lately, I've figured out that stripes are loved by us all so made up my mind to knit the baby blanket I've been thinking on with the same pattern. Sure I'll not use too many colors on the first sample, because I know moms want the color of the clothes and covers to represent the gender of their baby and buy one in different colors when they think the baby has enough pink or blue :) I try to knit in various colors of all my itmes I list on my shop for different likes and for babies I try to knit in cheerful colors as much as I can when I'm convinced I have enough pink, blue and white tones :) just like the moms do. I just wanted to knit this first baby blanket in pink and placed it on my list of items to be completed while there are too many waiting after being started and knitted some. It will be formed of parts that I'll stitch together so some stripes will be vertical while others will be horizontal. Sure this blanket will take a bit long, because I'll not just knit, but will sew a lining inside which means a bit more close friendship with scissors, needles and sewing machine :) I've just took two photos of the blanket tonight to witness the process and sharing with the hope that you all will like it...
