Unisex neckwarmers...

It's been a quiet day at home that I've spent nearly all time till afternoon washing the rugs. Thank God that famous company of Netherland (I just don't give the name, not only because this may be against the terms of 'blogger' -sure not-, but in case I may have a blog with millions of followers that they may come to give adds -sure just kidding, but still who knows what the future holds :)) made such a great machine for this purpose that it didn't tire me as it would if I had to clen them by my own hands. In the afternoon; mom and I went for Eid shopping and bought most of the things we need and with one last tour we can complete all tomorrow or the day after. In the evening, after a little rest I've took my knitting bag and continued to knit the second of three cardigans and I think I'll be able to send them to my customer after Eid ends so I can complete all new items I've started for the upcoming season. Cleaned my inboxes and worked on google + with the thought of what to post here today and found two neckwarmers listed in my shop that I haven't shared the new photos. Green tones for Winter...

Time passes so fast and it will be Eid at the end of this week so these days I have more than enough tidying and cleaning in the house and this means I have less time online than usual, but still the first thing I do is to check my shop. It was when I was having breakfast that I've turned my tablet on and signed in etsy to check my shop and saw an order which was a baby cardigan. After breakfast I've took it out of the box where I keep the items listed in my shop, packed the baby cardigand and posted it to U.S. where my last customer lives. I guess people started to surf the net for upcoming season and I hope it to be as they wish for anyone selling online :) As Winter keeps running towards us I think it's good to post some winter accessories on my blog and today I'll share a cowl I've knitted and infinity scarf I've crocheted of yarn in green tones. New baby set...

It's been raining mad since last night, but surprisingly net still works well; sure if we disregard the speed getting slow time to time. I guess the only benefit of such days is that one can spend more time on working even it's weekend and it wasn't much different for me today, in the morning we made a little tidying up in the house with mom for upcoming Eid which starts next Saturday. In the afternoon I'v completed the first of three cardigans that are custom orders and then took and edited the photos of the baby set I've completed lately and then listed it to my shop. It's a baby cardigan, pants, hat and bootie set that I've knitted of soft baby wool for newborn. I've used blue and white self pattern yarn on cardigan, hat and booties, but thought it would be better to use a plain color on pants and knitted it of blue. It's a chic set for sweet little men and a useful set for their mom who keep trying to find clothes that fit the other. I loved it even when I was knitting and hope you all will like it also...

It's raining mad here, the net playing up and gets slower each second, trying to work online, but don't know if I'll lose the connection or not, but I have this lovely collection of fellows' items to share so can't risk this post by writing long. Infinity scarf & hat sets (2)

It's Friday and I have at least one completed item that I can take photos of and list to my shop so I can regard this week as beneficial :) It's the baby set that I could complete and continued to knit to one of the three custom order cardigans that's about to finish. I guess I can start the second one on Monday while the baby blanket awaits me to adjust and knit the parts together again. I know you all are too tired after long working hours; some started to chill finished the working day as I did, on different time zones some started Saturday and some still waiting for Friday working hours to end so they can leave for home, but here or there all want to rest their eyes so as usual there will be less writing here on this blog as respect to my lovely followers :) Today I'll share two infinity scarf and hat sets that I've knitted in different patterns and colors. photos will describe them better than I can so just will post them right away with the hope you all will like them...

Infinity scarf & hat sets (1)

Today I've bought new yarn for new infinity scarves I'll knit, but I had to this according to my plan, because when I made my schedule; I guess I've made a mistake and didn't consider possible custom orders so this is something we all have to remember next year if we haven't taken the account of this one. At least I could start to promote my items early enough and feedback I get by messages, likes, favorites and +1s I get tells me things are getting in their tracks at last after months of contemplation and work. Yesterday I've started to share winter scarves from my shop and today I'll continue doing this by posting two infinity scarf and hat sets that I've knitted of yarn in different salt and pepper colors. I think such yarn gives winter items a warmer look so I tend to buy various colors I see in stores. First one I'll share today is of green and creme color while the other is maroon and white. Getting ready for Winter...

The climate change made the weather a bit harder to be predicted, but at least we know the seasons will follow one an other as we're accustomed to so we still need to make our preparations for the upcoming seasons. U might remember me spending time online searching for the trendy colors after making up my mind on what to put to my shop for Autumn & Winter. Even I couldn't have much time after listing new infinity scarf of mustartd color; at least I have a few in my bag that I knit in between the custom order cardigans. I need to adjust the baby cardigan's parts that didn't fit as well as I anticipated, because I want at least one in my shop's baby section. Actually my shop has a brand new look after changing the photos of many items and I get great reactions from people who visit my shop, but I still want to put at least ten new items before holiday season comes. Hemstitch knit cowls...

It was a really busy day with guests on my aunt's 40th. day of passing away and all went great, evevrybody loved the menu after the praying session, but it became one of those rare days that I couldn't knit or crochet and even couldn't have a minute to turn on the lappy to work some online. It was after dinner that I could take my knitting needles and continue to knit the cardigan I've started lately. I had to stop knitting for a while and clean my inboxes, reply to comments, thank to +1s  on google + and share my items on communities. Cyan chiffon scarf...

It's been a day just the same as last few days that I was busy with the preparations for the 40th. day of my aunt passing away and we'll have a full house. Early in the morning I've made some dessert for tomorrow, ice cream is ready in deep freeze also and chicken meat will meet with pilaff mom will make tomorrow so all will be ready for the feast we'll have with relatives and neighbors after praying for her soul. There were a few last touches on tidying the house, I could finish all in the evening and it was time for me to rest some. It lasted a few hours till dinner time and I could just turn the lappy on to share my items on google + and reply to the comments from my lovely friends. Fall started to make us feel its chilly hands stronger day by day and I guess we'd better change our wardrobe as soon as we can and take our clothes and accessories for Autumn and Winter. Today I'll share a scarf that I think will be a chic and vivid accessory for the upcoming season. It's of chiffon fabric that is batik paint in lively colors; cyan, yellow and orange. As every other scarf in my shop I've embellished it also and this time with beads and spangles. I hope you all will it...

It's been a long day working online, because this was what I've been thinking to do when I have time. I couldn't spare enough time  for my online chores and all keep coming as backlogs to me so today I've got armed and started the battle to get rid of them one by one :) Sure there are too many to read to learn how to promote my shop better, but they may wait for a while and can be done one by one daily so I can also knit new items for the new season. As you understood all has been put in their tracks and I have a better and easier schedule from now on so I hope all to be better for my shop and blog in the near future. I know on weekends we tend to read less and look at the photos and watch videos more so I try to keep my posts shorter on such days. I've just realized it's been quite a while since I've last made a treasury on Etsy and felt a bit ashamed when I saw the messages of fellow Etsians that included my items to their lovely treasuries. Actually I make treasuries at least once in a week, but lately all daily chores and spending time leraning what my tablet can do unable me making a new one, but now all is on its track so my wonderful friends deserve millions, but all could do is one today. Some ethnic scarves...

Preparations are almost done and I have the measurements of the cardigans I'll knit for the flower girls in my customer's wedding. Just as I saw the message I've started to knit one of them. I guess I have unstoppable knitter in me that wants to complete every item as soon as possible so she can pass on to the next one. Even before I've got the measurements; I've crocheted the flowers I'll embellish the cardigans with. Besides this I've started a new infinity scarf that will be formed of three colors and continued to knit baby set's hat. Sure you'll see them all soon here, but today I want to share a few ethnic scarves that will be great accessories in Fall. I've embellished them all with handmade crochet or beading just like any other scrf in my shop. You've seen these before, but they deserve to be shared once more with the big change after new photos. Satin Scarves...

I think the best fabric for women is silk and I've wrote sentences that express my feelings against that soft fabric repeatedly. Sure I don't talk about silk that you see around even on shopsthat sell cheapest items, but real; pure silk. The problem with silk garments and accessories are that you can't use them everyday, because they look a bit more chic than enough and should be prefered occasional rather than casual. Sure there's always an alternative in life and satin is the best one on days without silk. It has a soft touch also and the fabric itself is better for printing than silk is and this gives you more variety in color on mass production while pure silk gives the best results when hand dyed and painted that you'll need an artist that has enough time to spare for the item you ask for. Today I'll share four satin scarves that I've posted here months ago, but sure with their new photos. I hope you all will like it...

Scarves with beads...

It's been a day on which most of the preparations for both the 40th. day of my aunt's passing away and for winter cleaning. I'm a bit better with my tablet and I guess we'll get along well after spending a few more days together, but still I prefer the bigger screen of my lappy for cleaning my inboxes, but have to admit android apps make most of our daily chores easier and I deeply recommend you all to have one, but check the 'ram' before you buy one and get one with bigger 'ram' so your gadget won't freeze and frustrate you :) (sure this is something I've learned from my personal IT man; brother). We had guests as usual and after they've left I started to think what I'd start to knit, because I'm still waiting for the measurements of the last custom order I've got and hope to get them soon so I can make a schedule for ones I'll knit for upcoming seasons. Chic vest...

One needs to sacrafice from some she needs to do while trying to do many, because for millions of years last 24 hours and whatever we do they remain the same :) I've been knitting for the new season after making list, trying to tend my shop, do my daily chores online and try to get used to the tablet pc I've bought lately and keep running to my brother for him to make changes that will make it easier for me to use. Adding new apps to the screen and trying to learn android templates and layouts will take a bit more time, but I have to admit; it makes it easier to work on most websites. Besides all these we still have more guests than usual after my aunt passed away and in my country it's traditional to pray for her soul together with the relatives and friends especially on the 40th. day of one's lost which is next Tuesday so we try to make the arrangements also. Besides these all you know I've took new photos of my items except the baby collection, uploaded them and keep sharing one here on my blog daily. Today it's a vest I've knitted of grey wool that I think will be a great clothing for Fall and Winter. I hope you all will like it...

Pure silk

I'm sure you all know how it feels when silk touches your skin. maybe that's because it became a motto; 'Once you get in silk, you can never get out of it'. Sure it's not that easy to wear something of silk all through your life, but it's still great to have something silk with you through your day. It may be any kind of accessories or clothes and even on the most unbearable moment, just let your fingers wander on it; it will be a great relief and will relax you. I guess there are a few fabric that has such an effect on us and I regard them as God's gift to us. Here this silk scarf I've dyed and painted is one of my favorite items listed in my shop, but as the others it also had a few bad photos that I've been thinking to change, but just had time yesterday.
